Graphic design

The Visual Communication program trains image designers and creators whose skills open career opportunities in advertising, graphic design, and art.

Presentation

There is no “I” without “you.”
Originating communication, the relationship to the other is also foundational to all questioning.

It is through this relationship that the student is guided by the professors to apprehend, define, and progressively develop concepts that materialize as messages and images. The creation of these, and their relevance, depend on the knowledge of one’s own abilities, the interlocutor (audience), and the medium (message, image, support).
The Art and Communication field thus trains image designers and creators whose skills open career opportunities in advertising, graphic design (print and interactive), and art. The student is gradually led to develop an approach aimed at effectiveness and therefore persuasion.
Theoretical analysis tools (psychology, semiology, philosophy, marketing…) enable the student to understand communication challenges in order to develop their own concepts and messages. Alongside this theoretical approach, practical courses encourage experimentation with the tools necessary to create images.
The transfer from one approach to another is realized through argumentation and project work within the workshop. Beyond internal exchanges within the school, the student can also benefit from international exchange programs such as Erasmus, allowing them to confront their experience with other modes or approaches to creation.

The infrastructure available to the student includes: a photographic lab, a computer and multimedia lab, and printing facilities necessary for producing their projects.
