Information Regarding Registration Fees and Tuition Fees:

  1. Anyone who has not paid the fees according to the specified schedule will be excluded from the institution under the framework established by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles in its "Paysage" decree (2013).
  2. The school recommends settling the balance by December 15th at the latest. If needed, a payment plan with installment options can be arranged upon request through the Accounting Service.
  3. The tuition fees contribute to covering the costs related to the educational operations of the school: outings, trips, consumables, equipment, but they do not cover them entirely. Some activities may remain the responsibility of the students, but this will be kept to a reasonable level.
  4. Anyone facing genuine difficulties in paying these amounts can, according to the framework prescribed by the Social Council, apply for assistance. To do so, refer to the "Social Council" section on the student portal.
  5. The registration fees and specific registration fees are set by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles.

Exemption from Payment of Registration Fees:

FWB Scholarship Holders

FWB = Federation Wallonia-Brussels

Study grants, commonly referred to as "FWB scholarships," are financial aids granted to students from low-income backgrounds. The advantage of applying for a "FWB scholarship" is that you may temporarily benefit from a waiver of registration fees while waiting for the decision from the FWB.

What are the eligibility conditions for receiving an FWB study grant?
Whether you are Belgian or foreign, you can check the eligibility conditions on: https://allocations-etudes.cfwb.be/

The application must be submitted every year, starting in July, before the academic year in question. Your application should be submitted directly through the online form on the FWB Study Grants Service website (for quick processing). The application can also be sent by mail (which takes longer to process).

Once your application is submitted, ArBA-EsA will automatically receive a notification from the FWB Scholarships Service, so you will not need to provide us with any supporting documents.

Exemption from Payment of Specific Registration Fees (for non-EU students)

Under certain conditions, an exemption from this specific registration fee (DIS) may be granted to the student (see the conditions on the ArBA-EsA website, downloadable document "Exemption from DIS Payment 2022/2023 Non-EU Students").

Please note that this exemption is not automatic and must be renewed every year.

Reduction of registration fees: "modest condition"

For Belgian students or assimilated students, who are not FWB scholarship recipients and meet the criteria for "modest condition" student status, the registration fees are as follows:

▪︎ Registration fee + study fees > B1 / B2 / M1:

239,02 € + 110 € = 349,02 euros

  • 110 € due upon registration and no later than September 30
  • 239,02 € to be paid preferably by December 15 (recommended date) and no later than January 30

▪︎ Registration fee + study fees > B3 / M2:

343,47 € + 110 € = 453,47 euros

  • 110 € due upon registration and no later than September 30
  • 343,47 € to be paid preferably by December 15 (recommended date) and no later than January 30

Special Cases

Student with reduced workload

The student pays a proportional amount based on the credits they are enrolled in. Please contact the accounting department.

Unsubscribing - Refund

Before December 1st: the student who cancels their registration will be refunded the full amount already paid, except for the 50€ deposit.

From December 1st onwards: the student can officially withdraw from their studies, but they can no longer cancel their registration. From this date, the academic year will count towards their higher education track, and the required registration fees remain due.
