Drawing and engraving artist Rozalinda Gjetja, a recent graduate from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Brussels, adeptly explores absence, nostalgia, and recollections in her detailed drawings and engravings. Her early love of drawing led to her interest in the complex craft of engraving. She was born in Lezhe, Albania, in 1996.

Light and shadow, presence and absence, faces and unexpected fragments that have become an obsession are all delicately intertwined in Rozalinda's art. Her works of art are thought-provoking and emotionally compelling, and she frequently finds inspiration in the small things in life—like an afternoon breeze, light shining through leaves, leaves swaying in the wind, a blue sky, the smell of hay, dreams—as well as the major ones—like leaving one's own country, losing a loved one, childhood. Gjetja lives and works in Brussels, Belgium.
