EDJI Gallery is thrilled to introduce the launch of FUTURE MATTERS : a new annual exhibition dedicated to showcasing student artists. Once a year, the gallery will devote a full month of its programme to emerging voices still in art school. Students apply by submitting a portfolio and each edition will present a curated selection of artists working across different mediums. The inaugural exhibition opens on 22 January and runs until 21 February at EDJI Gallery in Brussels.

Conceived as a bridge between artistic education and the professional art world, FUTURE MATTERS reflects the gallery’s long-term commitment to supporting the next generation of artists. Through this platform, EDJI Gallery aims to provide students with essential visibility at a decisive stage in their careers, while offering them a concrete introduction to the realities of the contemporary art ecosystem.

As a young gallery focused on emerging artists, this programme is a natural extension of our mission. It is vital to create space for those who are still shaping their artistic language and to support the environments in which tomorrow’s artists are formed. Our hope is that FUTURE MATTERS will offer meaningful visibility and a valuable first professional experience for students ahead of their entry into the art world.
