Alice Giuliani (IT) is a dance-maker & performer based in Brussels. In her work she unravels hidden narratives around the crip & sick female bodies. By using interdisciplinary languages such as choreography, singing and writing she creates intimate and distorted performances inhabited by pop characters or sci-fi creatures. Her first creations, A.ROOM.POURED.OVER.ME and And everything is porous as a bodily crack, co-create with Camilla Strandhagen, has been showcased at events and venues such as Live Work Summit/Centrale Fies (IT), TUTT@Base_Milano (IT), Beursschouwburg (BE), Open Studios Festival/kaaistudio (BE), Jerk Off Festival (FR), Orlando /DanzaEstate Festival (IT). In recent years she has collaborated as a performer with Louise Vanneste, Benjamin Abel Meirhaeghe, Alessandro Schiattarella, Annie Hanauer, Marco D’Agostin, Roberto Castello/Aldes among others. She holds two bachelor degrees in performing arts at Università Roma TRE and Paris VIII Université, and a MA in choreography at ISAC/Académie royale de Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles.
